To place an order please go through the appropriate menu to decide the items required. Then please share the order with us via email or WhatsApp. Weekly menu orders need to be placed by Saturday for pickup on Tuesday, and catering orders need to be placed at least 3 weeks in advance. On receipt of order we will confirm within 24 hours.
There is no minimum order for the weekly menu (Tuesday pickup). For the catering orders there is a minimum order quantity of 10 units for all items on the catering menu (unless mentioned otherwise)
Payment has to be made via Zelle to our phone number.
Yes, full payment in advance is required for securing both weekly and catering orders
Orders cancelled within 24 hours (for weekly menu) or 48 hours (for catering orders) of placing the order will be refunded in full. After this time a 50% refund of the order will be given. We have to make non-refundable reservations in advance at the commissary kitchen and also purchase groceries / supplies for the orders, which cannot be refunded if orders are cancelled late.

At Kalpataru Foods, we take food allergies seriously and want to ensure your safety. Our products may contain some common allergens like milk, eggs, shellfish etc. Most items have their main ingredients listed in the descriptions. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please confirm with us and check the ingredient list carefully before placing your order and consuming our products. Kalpataru Foods shall not be liable for any illness, health problem, or other damages that may result from any order or consumption of any meals and related items.
We will be posting updated weekly menu items in this website as well as on Facebook, on Wednesdays, for order pickup on the following Tuesday. Current catering menu will be available on this website.
Weekly menu items are made together in batches for multiple orders and so customizations are mostly not possible. Catering orders can be made as per request. Please contact us and let us know about any customizations required.
Unfortunately we are not able to deliver orders at this time. Orders will have to be picked up from Bothell, WA. We are looking to expand our services in the future and will update delivery details here, when available in the future.
For the weekly menu, each item in the order will be packed separately in 16 oz boxes. Reusable plastic bags may be provided on request for each order, with an additional charge of 8 cents per bag as per Washington state plastic waste reduction guidelines.
Catering menu items will be packed in full or half size steam table aluminum trays depending on the size of the order.
Yes, we are a registered and licensed for catering business in the state of Washington. We are licensed by the Seattle & King County Public Health Department (Permit# PR0091423)
Yes, we do have liability insurance for food service industry.
